It was 9 months ago, at the TradersExpoNewYork2017, when we realized there was a great opportunity for a partnership which we had overlooked. Many Tradier clients came to our booth enquiring whether they could trade from the BetterTrader app, with their Tradier brokerage account. At that moment we became aware of a reality: switching between an analysis application and a trading application was too high an effort cost for our traders on the move.
With this new partnership, traders now have the ability to access top quality analysis, a trading platform, and review their position, from the same place, at a minimal cost.
Prior to the conceiving of BetterTrader, one of the founders was a full-time trader in one of the biggest proprietary trading firms in the world. That firm had their own team of skilled analysts and algorithms that support decision making and powered the success of the firm. The everyday trader is at a disadvantage, without these same tools.
In 2014 we decided to democratize and build a tool that could support retail traders and serve them with real-time actionable data, previously only found in professional trading rooms.
The company was founded by full-time day trader Eyal Mor, who has considerable knowledge in computer science and algorithmic trading, and tech-wiz Sergey Panpurin, who has a strong background in statistics and real-time applications.
